SAP 2000

ETABS
For nearly 30 years ETABS has been recognized as the industry standard for building analysis and design software, today, continuing in the same tradition, ETABS has evolved into a completely integrated building analysis and design environment. The system built around a physical object based graphical user interface, powered by targeted new special purpose algorithms for analysis and design, with interfaces for drafting and manufacturing, is redefining standards of integration, productivity and technical innovation.

The integrated model can include moment resisting frames, braced frames, staggered truss systems, frames with reduced beam section or side plates, rigid flexible floors, sloped roofs, ramps and parking structures, mezzanine floors, and multiple tower buildings and stepped diaphragm systems with complex concrete, composite or steel joist floor framing systems. Solutions to complex problems such panel zone defamations, diaphragm shear, and construction sequence loading are now at your fingertips.
ETABS is the solution, whether you are designing a simple 2d frame or performing a dynamic analysis of a complex high- rise that utilizes non – linear dampers for inter- story drift control.

SAFE
SAFE is a special purpose program that automates the analysis and design of simple to complex concrete flat plates and foundation systems using powerful object based modeling. The program can analyze and design slabs or mats of arbitrary shapes and varying thickness, drop panel, openings, edge beams and discontinuities. Foundations can be combinations of mats, strip footings or isolated spread footings. The analysis is based upon the finite element method in a theoretically consistent fashion that properly accounts for the effects of twisting moments. Meshing is automated based upon user specified parameters. Foundations are modeled as thick plates on elastic foundations, where the compression only soil springs are automatically discredited based upon a modulus of sub grade reaction that is specified for each foundation object.

The software produces reinforcing layouts and evaluates the effects of punching shear around column supports. Options are available for including cracked properties in the finite element model based upon the slab reinforcing that is provided. Also a comprehensive export option from ETABS is available that will automatically create complete SAFE models of any ETABS floor or foundation for immediate design by SAFE.

It complies with the British, ISO, EuroCodes and AASHTO standards.

Full compatibility with AutoCAD® and BricsCAD 11. ArmaCAD runs under AutoCAD® from release 2004 to 2011. ArmaCAD data from these different versions is fully compatible. ArmaCAD does not restrict the use of any AutoCAD® command. Any AutoCAD editing command can be applied to the ArmaCAD objects.

DWG support
ZWCAD offers DWG file format support, so it can open, edit, and save any existing DWG file generated by AutoCAD® from version 2.5 to 2012 without conversion or data lose.

Commands and Aliases
ZWCAD’s commands and aliases are also compatible with AutoCAD. ZWCAD can export and import the MNU, MNS, and PGP files that define menus, toolbars, and aliases customized in AutoCAD.
